Those Groovy Greeks!

WELCOME TO ANCIENT GREECE!
You will read a link describing a variety of Greek architectural features! http://www.ancientgreece.com/s/Art/
You will remember that we studied how Greek values influenced Greek art:
1) Art glorified human beings
2) Art symbolized pride in their city-states
3) Art expressed Greek ideals of harmony, balance, order, and moderation
4) Art expressed the Greek belief in combining beauty and usefulness

You will now answer the following questions: 1) Select a piece of architecture off the above website and write down its name 2) Explain HOW it demonstrates two of the above values - make sure that it is not a piece that we analyzed in class 3) Explain whether you like Doric, Ionic, or Corinthian columns best and why
