In the ancient world, some would say the Chinese invented and developed more technology than all the other civilizations. The Chinese invented silk, tea, and paper. One of the many inventions the Chinese people made was silk. Silk was exported to Europe where it was used in many ways, one being for clothing. Tea was also exported throughout the world by the Chinese and it spread to places like Russia and England. Probably the most significant invention that the Chinese people made was paper. The Chinese paper replaced papyrus and the new paper spread to places like Syria, Egypt, Morocco, Spain, and southern France. My favorite invention was paper. Without paper, what would the world use to write information on to pass down from generation to generation? It is a tool that everyone in the world uses and we could not get along without it.

In the Ancient Chinese civilization, the most influential invention was the compass. The compass was the most influential because it was used for navigation. This was important to traders and helped them navigate their boats back to the west. My favorite invention was printing. This was my favorite because the ancient Chinese civilization created the building blocks for the high tech printers we have now. This is helpful for all of us students who need to use printers to print out assignments.
the one before....

We usually dont realize how much the Chinese develop and produce for us. For example, look at the bottom of your re-usable water bottle, it will most likely say, "Made in China." But what we don't realize is that China also has made many of these inventions.
I think that the most important invention that the Chinese Civilization made was gun-powder. They invented it in 1000 A.D. and it probably spread to Europe at least 200-300 years later, but this fact is not proven to be correct yet. Gun powder is a really great invention because we can use it for mulitple things. For example, two big things that use gun-powder today, are weaponry and fireworks. Weaponry is a lot more important than fireworks, but we still all enjoy watching the colorful explosions on the fourth of July! My favorite invention is tea. I love tea! I love drinking it on a cold day. I think that people also believe it came from the British, which is False!

In the Ancient civilization, the most influential invention would have to have been grain storage. Grain storage is the containing of excess grain. It is important because it could have potentially saved many lives. If there was a flood and all of the crops got damaged, they would have extra grain to feed themselves. If they didn't have grain storage then there might have been a shortage of food and people might starve. I would say that my favorite invention would have to be silk. It would be my favorite because silk produced a lot of things that are useful to us today. It gives us clothing, glass, and many other things that we use.

I think that most influential invention that the Chinese people has invented is civil service. This is very important because it helped poor people get education and jobs. Not only did the Chinese use it but almost two-thousand years later it was used in France and England. My favorite invention was gunpowder because fireworks are made from them, and fireworks are always fun to watch. Also, gunpowder is use to make bullets for guns. Not only do guns keep us safe, they are also good to have a fun time with.

The Chinese civilization was a great one full of intelligent people and rulers. These advanced people had great ideas and created great things. An invention that may have been the best one invented was printing. The Chinese people invented block printing; it was use full for multiple things. They used this new block printing to transfer Confucius teachings from stone, to being printed out. Obviously this invention was put to use for many things which helped the Chinese people come up with other inventions with the help of one. It is kind of like a chain effect; once they came up with printing they got more stuff too. Some other things they used block printing for were for playing cards and paper currency. I feel like without them creating this, we may not have our paper money we use everyday. Money is a huge part of our life and I can’t imagine not having it. I would have to say my favorite invention of the Chinese people would be tea. I personally love tea; I drink it when ever it is available. Sweet tea, cold tea, hot tea, any type of it is so tasty. All because of the Chinese people hundreds of years ago, coming up with tea and spreading it all around the world. Through trading routes it got passed to people all over, I am so thankful for that.

The Ancient Chinese gave us many inventions that we still use today. I think the most important invention was their experiments with chemistry. Without the Ancient Chinese we would not have had a lot of the knowledge we have today. They discovered many things about minerals and their changing states. My favorite invention is printing. This is my favorite invention because basically everything we use is printed. I really like to read and without the Ancient Chinese there would be no books.

In ancient China they invented a special clay that today is called china, also known as porcelain. Porcelain is a special combinations of minerals of the Chinese people. Admired all throughout the world even today China was the first to invent and there secrets were revealed by Europeans. The Chinese invented a ton of useful tools, but the porcelain is collected and admired still today.

The Chinese invented a ton of useful tools, but the porcelain is collected and admired still today. Its very influential because of the how the world has come to compare porcelain projects today to those in ancient times. For them to be worthy of such credit and comparison shows how great they were for their time.

Some would say that the Chinese have invented more than any other civilization. This most important invention would have to be the seismograph though. The seismograph was able to record even the smallest tremors of earthquakes. This is very important and useful because even today it is used frequently. Seismographs can predict the amount of damage to be done and also people have found a way to record patterns to when earthquakes happen. This is all thanks to the Chinese. Although the seismograph is very important, I would have to say my favorite invention was the terra cotta warriors they have. With each one being unique and different, not one is alike another which is just fascinating to think about since they made thousands of them. Also another favorite of mine was paper because I use paper daily in my life for good like notes or printing pictures or for bad, like homework. No offense to teachers who give homework(: All in all, the Chinese have contributed to many of the world's greatest inventions.

In Ancient China many inventions were discovered. However the most influential invention I believe was the folding umbrella. This as and still is very important because it allows people to remain dry during storms and keep our clothes from being ruined. This is also my favorite because of those same reasons.

In ancient China, many inventions were developed in this time period. I believe that the most influential of all of these inventions is gunpowder. Although it may not be a positive influence, firearms greatly affect the world we live in. It is displayed in the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, allowing the freedom to bear arms in defense. It is also important in terms of chemistry. Gunpowder is additionally used in fireworks, which, in American culture, are a demonstration of our freedom. My favorite invention of ancient China is the compass. The compass helps direct me back home when I'm lost in the forest with my cousins. We go geocaching over the summer in the forest behind my house, and if it were not for the compass, we would probably still be lost! I do not mind that I do not always know where I'm going, but I am very thankful that the Chinese invented the compass.

Many people, maybe even including yourself, have a very important Chinese invention laying around your house- playing cards! The Chinese invented the cards, and later brought them over into Europe. This simple item is influential because I don't think I have ever met a person who hasn't at least seen one before. I would also imagine that almost everybody has one deck of cards or maybe more at their own house. I like them because they are very versatile, and you can play many different games with them. The printing of these cards has since evolved, so now they come in many different colors to pick from!

In the Ancient Chinese Civilization, the most influential invention was Alchemy. Chemistry led to experimentation with changing the state of minerals. It appears to have spread first to the Arab world and then to Europe. We would not know how much we know today without the Chinese and their knowledge of chemistry. Without chemistry we wouldn't have been able to create vitamins, pills... and so on to keep us healthy or help us get healthy. My favorite invention is tea. I love tea, and it reminds me of English people and their funny accents. It is healthy for you and tastes delicious.

Ancient China gave us many important contributions to the society we have today. They created many different things such as porcelain, paper, tea and their own type of bureaucratic government. I feel that the bureaucratic government is the most influential bacause it creates the base of society and shaped government for today. It also inspired many western politicians. My favorite invention is tea. It is a substance used around the world as something to drink and in some places it is used to heal the body and mind. I feel it is a cool and unique creation.

The most important invention in ancient China would definitely have to be the decimal system. So many things in our modern American world would be different wtihout it. There would be no more," $2.50 is your change," or," 3.14 equals pi." However, I'd have to say that my favorite ancient Chinese invention is that sweet dairy deliciousness that we call ICE CREAM!!! I practically cannot live without my cookie dough blizzard from DQ every week. Also, there would be a ton of ice cream truck drivers who would be unemployed if it weren't for this scrumptious invention!

Many popular fruits such as peaches, apricots, and citrus fruits came from china. I think these influenced the advance in civilization because it allowed them to make different types of food and perhaps they could even trade these good to other nations. Although this is the most influential, paper is my favorite of their inventions. Paper is my favorite because without it I wouldn't be able to draw and paint like I do now.

Gunpowder was influential in advancing society because people used it in weaponry that revolutionized warfare. Still today we use gunpowder in ammunition for weapons. It is my favorite invention because it made warfare a lot more cost efficient and gave stronger equipped forces an edge in combat.

The Chinese invented and developed many new technological items. One of the many is the development of paper money. This was a result of block-printing, and is important because this is what we still use today with $1 bills, $5 dollar bills and so on. My favorite invention would have to be the paper because it is also something that we still use to today, and without it, its hard to imagine what we would use as a substitute.

The most influential inventions in advancing civilzations from China are paper and silk.
Paper revolutionized the way people communicated nonverbally. Instead of etching words into clay tablets or writing on papyrus, people could now easily write books. Also, since it became easier to write, the number of people who were illiterate decreased because of the simplicity.
Silk was extremely important because it was the reason China had a huge increase in trade. China prospered economically beacuse the West desired silk so much.
My favorite invention was gunpowder beacuse without it fireworks, firecrackers, etc would not exist today.

The chinese have invented numeous items we use everyday. One of the most important, in my opinion, is wallpaper. This may not sound very important, because most people dont even notice how important wallpaper really is. It helps us make each room different and gives it personality. If we did nto have wallpaper, walls everywhere would eb barren, naked and sad. So thank you ancient chinese people for inventing walpaper(:

When one Thinks of China, they may think of many different thing, not all of which are positive. However, you can't say that the don't have a rich history for making things (and no I don't mean all the little things that say "Made in China!") Of all the inventions of ancient China I believe that the most influenctial , not only to China but to the world, was the invention of row planting. Planting in rows allowed whatever was being grown to grow bigger and grow stronger, without disturbing other plants growing near it. This also allowed for bigger harvests, which was crucial due to the amount of people in China mot of which, were farmers! Despite row growing being the most influenctial invention, my personal favorite is gunpowder. Another huge influence to China and the world, but that's not why its my favorite, its my favorite because without gun power we wouldn't have fireworks! Fireworks symbolize celebration and good times and it is for those reasons that I like them so much!

In Ancient China, many things were invented and improved. I believe that of all these things, wallpaper was an important one. It helped with the insulation of a room, as well as the ability to express character. I think that my favorite one is the keeping of goldfish as pets. It is something that we experience today and can relate too. Ancient China has and still influences the world today.

I think the most important inventions for the civilizations was tea. Tea was signified respect. If you wanted somebody to come into your house, you would offer them tea. It was much more then just a drink. My personal favorite invention is silk. I love the feel of silk. If I could just walk around in all silk clothing I totally would, because it is so comfortable!
