Philosophy is when a person studies a specific topic and learns the basic concepts and principles of that topic. I would want to be Socrates. Although he did not read or write, he was the first in the chain of the three. Also I feel that he came up with all the information and Plato just reiterated everything he said. But just wrote it down.
Philosophy is when a person tries to solve problems that have to do with government, religion, etc. and are in pursuit of wisdom. I admire /want to be like Socrates the most because he askes questions to gain more knowledge, and even in his final days he would rather die than have to stop pursuing wisdom and gaining knowledge

Philosophy is someone's view or theory of a topic that can be applied as a guideline towards how someone should think or live. I would choose Plato because he wanted to make a perfect society and improve peoples living which shows he was passionate for people's wellness.

Philosophy is not just a study, but a way to live your life. I admire Socrates the most out of the three, he held on to his philosophy so strongly that he would rather die then change who he was.
Philosophy is a collection of teachings to futher your education and improve your daily life. I admire Aristotle the most because he is known as the grand daddy of the scientific method, a method used all around the world in schools and in scientific jobs.

Philosophy is the way a person views a topic and applies it to their own life. I most admire Aristotle because he created the first taxonomy/classification system based on animals' species, genus, family, etc., which I find interesting.
Philosophy is when you learn in order to obtain wisdom and knowledge. I would most want to be like Socrates because he questioned others and made them understand why they were wrong. This method of learning probably helped prevent problems that could have happened, if the individual was not persuaded to think about the situation.

Philosophy is an idea on how to improve an accepted idea that contains ignored flaws. One could have a philosophy on how to live one's life. I admire Socrates most of the three philosophers because he questioned things that he did not understand. In the modern world, we are taught to ask questions from a young age. This idea may have come from Socrates. Socrates thought to question the things that seemed wrong. I also admire Socrates in that he never gave up on his ideas. Socrates died for what he believed in. He would have rather died than stopped asking questions.

Philosophy is the answer to the questions in are lives. If I had to choose out of the three philosophers i would choose Socrates because he has a mind much like mine. For example he criticizes people and sees things differently.

Philosophy is a large portion of how you should live or your life and also how you view it. I admire Socrates the most because of how much he contributed to the greeks field of ethics and his questioning of truth and popular opinion.

I believe that a philosopher is someone who dedicates there lives in the study of a subject. I think Socrates is the best of the trio because he proved to people that they were wrong and why they were wrong. Also he developed a new style of teacher which in my book makes him the best of this trio.

Philosophy is a guideline for living to find the absolute truth in things in life. I admire Socrates because of he said that if someone makes you work harder than before is not being evil towards you.

Philosophy is a way of life that applies a person's beliefs morally and intellectually, and often times pursues wisdom and knowledge. I admire and would want to be Plato the most because I like his views of a 'perfect society' and how he wouldn't let Socrates teachings die. Instead, he wrote them down, and started The Academy which produced the philosopher Aristotle! So basically, Socrates teachings and ideas would have ended when he died if not for Plato.

In my opinion philosophy can be values you live by and a teaching and understanding of them. By following a philosophy, you are able to come out with the truth and knowledge of that subject. Socrates is my favorite philosopher out of these 3 because he thought outside the box. He didn't want people to just give straight answers and learn straight forward knowledge - he wanted people to think deeply about the subject and do more abstract or critical thinking.

Philosophy is the journey throughout life that one takes to discover the truth about a certain area of everyday life through great dedicaton in study. Of the three ancient Greek philosophers, I admire and want to be like Plato the most. My main reason for this is because he founded a great Greek institution for learning, and I place a very high value on education. Also, I admire that he was willing to follow after the teachings of Socrates, but still managed to be his own person, putting his own, interesting twist on philosophy.

Philosophy is a better way to live your life gained through knowledge and wisdom. Of the three philosophers I most admire Socrates because of the way he taught his information. He didn't just tell you the answer, but led you through the thinking so you came to the conclusion yourself. It was also interesting about how passionate he was about his learning. He would rather learn and be educated, and die, than keep his ideas to himself and be free. This passion and knowledge is what inspired others to pursue similar ways of thinking. -Molly J.
I think that philosophy means the searching of knowledge, truth and goodness. My favorite philosopher is Socrates because his way of thinking and teaching others was so revolutionary and different that people hated him for it, yet he still continued teaching and helping people. I also love the way he outsmarted (and annoyed!) his enemies.

Philosophy is the pursuit of gaining knowledge and knowing the truth. I admire Socrates the most, because you would hear him challenging people on the street, hearing false statements that they would say. He would give them reasoning to why it was wrong, and went on his way. He had much confidence to do this, and he did it daily. That is why I admire him.

Philosophy is a term used when someone is spending a great deal of their time, even their whole lives, searching for an answer or explaination of a very deep topic. I liked the philosopher Socrates because he said, "The unexamined life is not worth living."I agree to this statement because it seems rather pointless to live your everyday life without wondering why people do things, or why things are the way we are. its thinkers like Socrates that use curiosity as a motivator that lead our society to our many great discoveries
-Natalie B.
Philosophy is gaining education by seeking knowledge with good intention. I most admire Aristotle because he tutored Alexander the Great, therefore making him the brilliant conqueror he was. He also believed the philosophy begins with wonder, which I wholeheartedly believe.
-Sarah S.
Philosophy is the pursuit of gaining knowledge, truth, and intellect by asking broad questions that unravel the biggest questions of life and human nature. I most admire Socrates and would want to be like him because he always asked questions. By asking questions and forcing people to answer, their flaws are revealed to them. There is no denying the flaws' existence. If I simply tell someone that they are wrong, they won't believe me and won't listen to an explanation. When you ask questions, someone thinks they are defending their answer until they see the errors in their logic.
-Jacob N.
Philosophy is using your mind, the summation of all your experiences and knowledge, to solve the greatest mysteries you know. My favorite of the three philosophers is Plato. Plato's concepts of a meritocracy where people gain positions based on their aptitude for the field seems like the optimal way of doing things.
